Introduction[]
This guide is for players who have just turned level 30. If you're a new player and have not hit level 30 yet, focus on the quest lines, crafting, and professions before you come back to this guide.
Firstly, a rough reference guide of the progression of armor:
Green armor from Waldenbach --> Blue armor pieces from Windsor Hold (T1.5) --> Crafted armor pieces from the merchants in Waldenbach (C1.5) --> Blue armor pieces from Bitterburg Ruins and Bitterburg Keep / Crafted armor from Bitterburg Keep (T2)
So you're level 30? be ready for lots of things[]
Congratulations! You just hit the big level 30! You're now one of the kings of the serv... well wait not yet. There is still so much to do now that you can unlock the highest gear. So let's start easy, head to Waldenbach, we're going to get you some gear.
Buy your first set[]
You might have been leveling up and collecting gear, some of your pieces of gear might work, but most are probably useless at this point (try to compare your armor and the waldenbach armor, most armor priorities are: damage, mana, health and mana/energy reg).
Get some gear from Waldenbach Traders, to make sure you have the absolute best stats possible when doing things like Windsor Hold. The traders in waldenbach city and Lucabal sell some of the best gear in waldenbach. (waldenbach traders shown here)---->
go and do professions[]
If no players did not warn you or did not recommend you to do professions, you will start from pain, go back to farshore and go do your professions, you can ask people on some information, but in short, on what you should know is:
Mage professions typically involve tailor, enchanter, and gathering professions.
Tailors usually needs Fiber (Dirty Fiber for level 1-10, Fiber for level 11-20 and Quality Fiber for level 21-30), buttons, herbal bundles and special gathering items. Enchanters usually needs Herbal bundles, wooden branches, sandpaper (dirty sandpaper for level 1-10, sandpaper for level 11-20 and Quality sandpaper for level 21-30) and special gathering items.
On the other hand, fighter professions include leatherworking, armorsmithing, weaponsmithing, and gathering professions.
Leatherworking usually needs leather (torn leather for level 1-10, leather for level 11-20 and strong leather for level 21-30), Fiber (Dirty Fiber for level 1-10, Fiber for level 11-20 and Quality Fiber for level 21-30), rivets and special gathering items. Armorsmithing usually needs ingots (copper for level 1-10, tin for 11-20 and iron for 21-30), Fiber (Dirty Fiber for level 1-10, Fiber for level 11-20 and Quality Fiber for level 21-30), bolts, and special gathering items. Weaponsmithing usually needs ingots (copper for level 1-10, tin for 11-20 and iron for 21-30), wooden branches, and special gathering items.
If you want or need to know more, look at crafting materials. (Also, you need to level up the specified profession to level 30)
Head to your new home, Windsor Hold[]
With your new set, you can now take on the Windsor Hold Skelies in a 1v1. Head over to WH and start killing skeletons to get WH keys. Use these keys to open the WH dungeon. You can run this dungeon on your own, try to survive to wave 10, if you can, and wave 20 or 30 once you unlock more powerful gear. You need livisium (call it livi for now), plenty of livisum. Every 6 livi you can go back to the north-east Waldenbach and buy a crafting book to craft better gear (requires:6livi), this is really the point where you get to pick which class you want to focus on. Additionally you will get blue gear from WH that is better than your store bought gear, but worse than the crafted gear (just slightly).
Wow, you grinded A lot of Livisum and are fully crafted.[]
Congrats, you've done a lot... now it's time to head to Bitterburg Ruins. You'll need a squad of 4 or 5 to complete this dungeon, you'll get slightly better than crafted gear from this dungeon, so run it as much as you want, but but but... do you know the golden rule? most people call it the N1 rule, so if you dont, then read this (VERY IMPORTANT)
OK, let's get serious now: Bitterburg Keep[]
In Bitterburg Keep you will find the hardest dungon that the Stein world has to offer (at the moment). The bosses in this dungeon will need a group with a pretty high proficiency. Fully crafted sets are highly recommended in order to beat the bosses. The reward is even more powerful gear.

No plan? (also some very important hints)[]
have no idea on what youre doing? we are here to help
since we have no idea on what class/roles you are focusing, we will just tell every role and you find yours.
ARMORS : Shamman (water) | Fighter (death) | Mage (fire) | Warlock (soul) | Tank/warrior (physical) | Healer/Priest (heal) | Archer/hunter (earth)
WEAPONS : Shamman (water) | Fighter (death) | Mage (fire) | Warlock (soul) | Tank/warrior (physical) | Healer/Priest (heal) | Archer/hunter (earth)
also if you can, try to join a powerful guild, it can help you, but if you are already in a guild, dont leave it, its because it will give you a bad name.
also, when you get the book: broken geode, please do not trash it, it is very useful and try to learn it ASAP (As Soon As Possible)
almost forgot to mention, do you see the billboard in the townsquare of waldenbach? complete that quest to get some royal bear crates (RBC).
RBC is a crate for you to get items, and rarely you get these things called "advanced hellion (hunter)/ritual (priest)/serezith (tank)/necromantic (warlock)/vampiric (mage)/grave (fighter)/constellation (water) gloves/boots", they are the best gloves and boots, to get the best chestplate, legguards, and shoulders, you need to farm BR and BK, to get the headguard, you need to kill Serezith Brakurd (the hardest boss in the game), serezith will drop a headguard book and you need to learn it and craft it (except if its not your class)
by the way, your weapon for your class may not be the strongest! there is one type of weapon of yours that may not be the strongest (there is a stronger weapon than in Bitterburg), so if you are a fighter/hunter, go and do the letters quest from kjell neukon (vigtrim), if you are a mage/warlock, go and do the books quest from the enchanter in waldenbach, but if you are a warrior (tank)/shamman, do the old writting quest from jhanta sandhar, and lastly if you want to focus on healing, go and do the inscription quest from jonathan blomquist, at fishermans prayer
