Stein features a massive world, divided into different regions, which in term contain a multitude of indoor and outdoor zones. Each region contains unique sets of enemies, dungeons, and quests for the player to complete. Regions have an intended level range, which determines the overall difficulty of the contained zones, dungeons and quests. Generally, it is highly recommended to stay in the region designed for the player's current level, as quests have a minimum level requirement and experience penalties for enemies of far greater level than the player's own level do exist.
